St. Agatha Church in Dublin
St. Agatha’s Church in Dublin is one of the oldest Catholic churches in Ohio and it is believed to have been constructed some time around 1819. Over the centuries, the church has been the scene of many tragic events and has become haunted by the spirits of the dead who have been laid to rest in the church cemetery over the years. It is said the spirits will attack the living when they believe that they are in danger of punishment or that they are somehow being deceived or hurt by those living around them. One of the most common apparitions that is said to haunt the church is that of an old man wearing a top hat who can be seen walking among the tombstones in the graveyard late at night. Many visitors to the church have claimed that they have seen him walking among the graves but have been unable to get a glimpse of his face as it is always hidden in shadow. It is also said that the ghosts of children can often be seen playing in the church yard late at night and even that sometimes the statues in the cemetery will begin to dance and move of their own accord as if in response to something invisible that is causing them to move. There have been several other reported sightings of strange apparitions and strange noises coming from the church and church grounds in the past but these are only the most recent in a long line of unexplained phenomena that have been attributed to the presence of the supernatural in and around the church over the centuries.

EVP readings in the Toledo Courthouse.
According to legend, the Toledo Courthouse was the site of numerous executions during the 1800’s and many of the men and women who were put to death in the building are said to still linger there in spirit to this day. The courthouse is reputed to be one of the most haunted buildings in the state and visitors often report seeing shadowy figures moving through the building at night and seeing objects move on their own accord without any obvious cause. There are also several reports of hearing disembodied voices inside the building although no one has ever been able to decipher what these voices are saying. A strange light that seems to emanate from various parts of the building has also been seen by many people over the years and some people claim to have witnessed it moving from room to room with no visible means of support.
In addition to the apparitions that are said to haunt the courthouse, many people also claim to have heard the sound of footsteps running up and down the stairs at the back of the building and have seen cold spots that seemed to appear out of nowhere in various places throughout the building. It is said that some of these cold spots can actually be felt by people who are standing in them while others are just perceptible through the intensity of their chill.

Ghostly Animals in Michigan ’s Upper Peninsula
Michigan’s Upper Peninsula has a variety of beautiful natural areas that are home to a wide variety of wild animals and many of these animals are said to be able to communicate with the spirit world by manifesting as ghostly apparitions. One of the most common animals that is believed to make frequent appearances as a ghostly apparition is the cougar and although sighting of these elusive animals are rare, there have been several confirmed reports of sightings of these enigmatic creatures over the past several years. In one instance, a group of hikers spotted a cougar near a cliff overlooking Lake Superior as they made their way up a mountain and when they tried to scare the animal away by throwing rocks at it, it simply vanished into thin air before their eyes. In another case, a man who was camping out in the woods near Lake Superior claimed that he saw a large feline creature crawling along the ground right beneath his tent one night and he was so frightened that he ran away from the campsite in terror and never returned. There have been several other reported sightings of cougars throughout the Upper Peninsula in recent years and some of them have been captured on security cameras at local businesses and government buildings so it would appear as though these ghostly cougars are actually appearing in the real world and not just in some phantom realm that exists outside of our understanding.
