Summary

The lives of a normal family residing in New England are torn apart when Marjorie, a 14-year-old teenager, starts displaying symptoms of acute schizophrenia. Eventually, Marjorie turns out to be a lunatic and the stable household becomes a house full of horrors. According to a priest, the teenager has been possessed by a demon and has worked a head full of ghosts. Eventually, a production company expresses its desire to document the plight of the Barrett family. John, the father of the lad, gives his consent and the family soon becomes the star of a hit reality TV show. After 15 years, the younger sister of Marjorie is interviewed by a best-selling writer. She narrates the story in her own words which reveals a much more horrifying version of what actually happened in that house.
